About Yearchips Concrete, a Concrete Referral Service

Get matched with a local provider

Who we are

Yearchips Concrete is a referral service. We help homeowners in Minnetonka, MN find independent providers who build new concrete driveways, patios and stamped concrete. We are not a contractor. We do not pour, cut or finish concrete.

Why we exist

Finding a concrete provider is hard. Many homeowners do not know who to trust or what to ask. Quotes differ. Plans differ. We built this service to make the first step easy. You say what you want to build. We point you to a provider who builds it.

How providers are matched

You request an estimate or make a call. We look at the type of job and your location in the Minnetonka area. Then we connect you with a provider in our network who does that kind of work. Request a callback to check provider availability. Many providers can respond quickly, but timing varies.

What we expect from providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

  • Hold any license or permit that local rules require
  • Give a written quote
  • Explain the base, the thickness, the joints and the drainage plan
  • Talk about sealing and care after the pour
  • Treat your yard and home with respect

Pour it right, and the slab protects your home and its resale value.

What we do not do

We do not do the work. We do not set prices. We cannot promise a result on any one job. Your contract is with the provider, not with us. We are for new concrete jobs. We do not handle repair or customer service calls for past work.

Some jobs reach past flatwork. A slab that sinks near the house may point to a foundation issue. In that case, ask the provider if they do that work or know foundation repair experts who do.

How we are paid

Homeowners do not pay Yearchips Concrete to use this service. Providers in our network may pay Yearchips Concrete when we connect them with a homeowner. You pay the provider only for the work you agree to in your written quote.

Care after the pour

Drain, seal, repeat. A new slab needs care. Keep gutters clear. Point downspouts away from the concrete. Seal it as the provider advises. Fix small cracks early. Our region has deep frost, hot summers and spring flooding, so slab care counts.
